# Industrial Diseases (Notification) Act 1981, Section 2: Short title, interpretation and extent.


(1) This Act may be cited as the Industrial Diseases (Notification) Act 1981.
(2) In this Act “Registrar General” means—
(a) in England and Wales, the Registrar General for England and Wales; and
(b) in Scotland, the Registrar General of Births, Deaths and Marriages for Scotland.
(3) This Act does not apply to Northern Ireland.
