# The Industrial Training (Distributive Board) (Revocation) Order 1982, Note: Explanatory note


This Order provides for the winding up of the Distributive Industry Training Board which was established by the Industrial Training (Distributive Board) Order 1968 and for the revocation of that Order, the Industrial Training (Distributive Board) Order 1970 and of the Industrial Training (Distributive Board) Order 1970 (Amendment) Order 1971 with effect from 31st March 1983. Any assets remaining on the completion of the winding up are to be applied for the purpose of encouraging training for employment.
