# The Industrial Training (Gas Industry Board) (Revocation) Order 1973, Introduction: Introductory text

Article 3 1st April 1974
Remainder 1st January 1974
The Secretary of State after consultation with the Gas Industry Training Board, with the British Gas Corporation, being the sole employer engaged in the activities of the gas industry, and with organisations and associations of organisations appearing to be representative of substantial numbers of persons employed in the activities of the gas industry and in the exercise of his powers under section 9 of the Industrial Training Act 1964 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf hereby makes the following order:—
