# The Industrial Training (Wool, Jute and Flax Board) (Revocation) Order 1982, Note: Explanatory note


This Order provides for the winding up of the Wool, Jute and Flax Industry Training Board which was established by the Industrial Training (Wool Industry Board) Order 1964 as the Wool Industry Training Board. It was renamed by the Industrial Training (Wool, Jute and Flax Board) Order 1966 (S.I. 1966/428) which Order was revoked by the Industrial Training (Wool, Jute and Flax Board) Order 1968. The 1964 Order and the 1968 Order are revoked by this Order with effect from 31st July 1982. Any assets remaining on the completion of the winding up are to be applied for the purpose of encouraging training for employment.
