  "text": "(1) Section 55 (extinguishment of liability to maintain or improve bridges comprised in trunk roads and special roads) is amended as follows.\n(2) In subsection (1), after “Minister” insert “ or a strategic highways company (“the trunk road authority”) ”.\n(3) In subsection (2)—\n(a) for the first “Minister” substitute “ trunk road authority ”;\n(b) for the second “Minister” substitute “ authority ”.\n(4) In subsection (3), for “Minister”, wherever occurring, substitute “ trunk road authority ”.\n(5) In subsection (4)—\n(a) for the first “Minister” substitute “ trunk road authority ”;\n(b) after the second “Minister” insert “ , a strategic highways company or trunk road authority ”.\n(6) In subsection (5), in the definition of “owners”, for “Minister” substitute “ trunk road authority ”.",
