Section 271 (provisions with respect to transfer of toll highways to highway authorities) is amended as follows.

(2)

In subsection (1)(i), after “trunk road” insert “ for which he is the highway authority ”.

(3)

After subsection (1)(i) insert—

“(ia)

in the case of a trunk road for which it is the highway authority, a strategic highways company;”.
