# The Insolvency Amendment (EU 2015/848) Regulations 2017, Paragraph 28

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

In section 436 (expressions used generally) in subsection (1)—
(a) omit the definition of “the EC Regulation”, and
(b) at the appropriate place insert—
““the EU Regulation” means Regulation (EU) 2015/848 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 May 2015 on insolvency proceedings;”.
