# The Insolvency (Amendment) Rules 2001, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 7th March 2001
Coming into force 2nd April 2001
The Lord Chancellor, in the exercise of his powers under section 412 of, and paragraphs 21 and 30 of Schedule 9 to, the Insolvency Act 1986, with the concurrence of the Secretary of State, and after consulting the committee existing for that purpose under section 413 of that Act, hereby makes the following Rules:—
