  "text": "(This note does not form part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend the Insolvency Practitioners Regulations 1986 (the 1986 Regulations). For the purposes of Regulation 6(2) of the 1986 Regulations (which prescribes requirements with respect to practical training and experience), they amend the definition of “office-holder” and provide for the interpretation of references to the appointment of office-holders. The 1986 Regulations have been amended twice before, by S.I. 1986/2247 and S.I. 1989/1587.",
