# The Insolvency Rules 1986, Rule 7.26: Title of proceedings

Extent: E+W

(1) Every proceeding under Parts I to VII of the Act shall, with any necessary additions, be intituled “IN THE MATTER OF ... (naming the company to which the proceedings relate) AND IN THE MATTER OF THE INSOLVENCY ACT 1986”.
(2) Every proceeding under Parts IX to XI of the Act shall be intituled “IN BANKRUPTCY”.
