# The Insolvency (Scotland) Rules 1986 Amendment Rules 2008, Rule 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) These Rules may be cited as the Insolvency (Scotland) Rules 1986 Amendment Rules 2008 and come into force on 20th December 2008 (“the commencement date”).
(2) In these Rules “the 1986 Rules” means the Insolvency (Scotland) Rules 1986.
