# The Insolvent Partnerships (Amendment) Order 2001, Introduction: Introductory text


INSOLVENCY, ENGLAND AND WALES
Made 1st March 2001
Laid before Parliament 7th March 2001
Coming into force 2nd April 2001
The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 420(1) and (2) of the Insolvency Act 1986 and section 21(2) of the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, with the concurrence of the Secretary of State, hereby makes the following Order:—
