# The Intellectual Property (Enforcement, etc.) Regulations 2006, Introduction: Introductory text


INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Made 5th April 2006
Laid before Parliament 6th April 2006
Coming into force 29th April 2006
The Secretary of State has been designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to intellectual property (including both registered and unregistered rights).
He makes the following Regulations under the powers conferred by that section:
