# The Intellectual Property (Enforcement, etc.) Regulations 2006, Paragraph 5: Amendment of the Patents Act 1977


(1) In section 130 (interpretation), in subsection (1), in the definition of “formal requirements” for “section 17” there shall be substituted “section 15A”.
(2) Sub-paragraph (1) does not apply to an application for a patent to which article 20, 21 or 22 of the Regulatory Reform (Patents) Order 2004 applies.
