  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nBy this Order the Secretary of State for International Development brings into force the International Development Act 2002 (which received Royal Assent on 26th February 2002) on 17th June 2002.\nOn the same date, the Overseas Development and Co-operation Act 1980 (c. 63) is repealed, by virtue of sections 15 and 19 of, and Schedule 4 to, the International Development Act 2002. Schedule 5 to the Act contains certain specific transitional and savings provisions.",
