# International Development Act 2002, Paragraph 11: Police Act 1996 (c. 16)


(1) Amend section 97 of the Police Act 1996 (status of police officers undertaking relevant service) as follows.
(2) In subsection (1) (meaning of relevant service), at the end of paragraph (g) insert
“, or
(h) service in connection with the provision by the Secretary of State of assistance under the International Development Act 2001 on which a person is engaged with the consent of the appropriate authority.”
