  "text": "The Overseas Development and Co-operation Act 1980, section 6(2), provides that if the Government of the United Kingdom becomes bound by arrangements for the making of additional payments to the International Development Association, the Secretary of State may, with the approval of the Treasury, provide by order for the payment out of money provided by Parliament of any sums required by him for any of the purposes specified in that subsection.\nThis Order provides for the payment to the Association, in accordance with arrangements made with it relating to the Sixth Replenishment of the resources of the Association, of a sum of £804,347.20 as an additional subscription carrying voting rights and of a sum of £369,178,852.80 as an additional contribution not carrying voting rights. The Order also provides for the redemption of non-interest-bearing and non-negotiable notes issued by the Secretary of State in payment of that additional subscription and contribution. The Order further provides that any sums which may be received by the Government of the United Kingdom from the Association in pursuance of the arrangements shall be paid into the Consolidated Fund.\nThe sums provided for in this Order are in addition to the interim additional contribution to the Sixth Replenishment of the Association which was provided for in the International Development Association (Sixth Replenishment: Interim Payments) Order 1981 (S.I. 1981/517).",
