# The Iran (Sanctions) (Amendment) Regulations 2026, Regulation 17: Power to designate persons


In regulation 5 (power to designate persons)—
(a) in paragraph (1), after sub-paragraph (c), insert—
“(ca) regulation 43B (technical assistance relating to ships);”;
(b) in paragraph (2), after sub-paragraph (b), insert—
“(ba) regulation 43B (technical assistance relating to ships);”.
