# The Iran (Sanctions) (Amendment) Regulations 2026, Regulation 2: Interpretation


In these Regulations—
“the 2019 Regulations” mean the Iran (Sanctions) (Nuclear) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019;
“the 2023 Regulations” mean the Iran (Sanctions) Regulations 2023.
