# The Iran (Sanctions) (Nuclear) (EU Exit) (Amendment) Regulations 2025, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 1st October 2025
The Secretary of State, considering that the condition in section 45(2) of the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018 (“the Act”) is met, makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1(1)(a) and (3)(a), 9(2)(b), 13, 15(2)(a) and (b), (3), 54(1) and (2) of, and paragraphs 5(c), 17, 19, 20 and 23 of Schedule 1 to, the Act.
