  "heading": "Prohibition on port entry",
  "text": "(1) A person must not provide a ship to which this paragraph applies with access to a port in the United Kingdom, if the person knows, or has reasonable cause to suspect, that the ship is a ship to which this paragraph applies.\n(2) The master or pilot of a ship to which this paragraph applies must not cause or permit the ship to enter a port in the United Kingdom if the master or pilot knows, or has reasonable cause to suspect, that the ship is a ship to which this paragraph applies.\n(3) Paragraphs (1) and (2) are subject to Part 8 (Exceptions and licences) (see, in particular, regulation 57 (ships: exceptions from prohibitions on port entry)).\n(4) A person who contravenes a prohibition in paragraph (1) or (2) commits an offence.\n(5) Paragraphs (1) and (2) apply to—\n(a) a ship owned, controlled, chartered or operated by a designated person, or\n(b) a specified ship.\n(6) In paragraph (5), a “designated person” means a person who is designated under regulation 5 for the purposes of the relevant regulations of this Part.",
