# The Iran (Sanctions) Regulations 2023, Regulation 62B: Ships licences


The prohibitions in regulation 45A(1) and (2) (prohibition on chartering or operating specified ships) do not apply to anything done under the authority of a licence issued by the Secretary of State under this regulation.
