  "text": "This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of defects in S.I. 1990/1651 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.\nUNITED NATIONS\nMade 16th December 1998\nLaid before Parliament 4th January 1999\nComing into force 25th January 1999\nAt the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 16th day of December 1998\nPresent,\nThe Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council\nWhereas under Article 41 of the Charter of the United Nations the Security Council of the United Nations have, by a resolution adopted on 6th August 1990, called upon Her Majesty’s Government in the United Kingdom and all other States to apply certain measures to give effect to a decision of that Council in relation to the situation between Iraq and Kuwait:\nNow, therefore, Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 1 of the United Nations Act 1946, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:",
