  "text": "Section 265(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 provided for orders providing for the exercise and performance in the Isles of Scilly of functions which are for the time being conferred or imposed on local authorities. This order provides for the exercise and performance by the Council of the Isles of Scilly of the functions conferred or imposed on the councils of non-metropolitan counties by the enactments specified in article 2, which deal with the supervision of wards of court, the supervision of children subject to court orders in matrimonial proceedings, the supervision of children subject to guardianship orders and the power of the court in certain matrimonial proceedings to require local authorities to provide reports on any matter which the court considers is relevant to any decision it may make.",
