  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order provides for the coming into force on 12th December 1995 of provisions in the Jobseekers Act 1995 (c. 18) authorising the making of Regulations.\nIt further provides—\nfor section 29, which relates to the making of pilot schemes, to come into force on 1st January 1996;\nfor provisions in section 28, which relate to expedited claims for housing benefit and council tax benefit and exchange of information between authorities, to come into force on 1st April 1996;\nfor the provisions of sections 27 and 34(3) and (7), which relate to deductions which may be made by employers when they employ long-term unemployed people, to come into force on 6th April 1996;\nfor sections 33 (inspection), 34 (offences) and provisions relating to finance and Secretary of State questions, also to come into force on 6th April 1996;\nfor provisions relating to resettlement places (including section 30) to come into force on 1st April 1996.",
