Regulation 4 Transitional provision

Regulations 2 and 3 of these Regulations shall not apply in the case of a person—

(a)

who has made a claim for a jobseeker’s allowance before 5th April 1999 or who is treated as having made a claim for a jobseeker’s allowance before that date; and

(b)

in respect of whom 5th April 1999 is one of the first three days of a jobseeking period.
