Regulation 4 Availability

In relation to a person to whom these Regulations apply, there shall be inserted into paragraph (1) of regulation 14 of the Jobseeker’s Allowance Regulations the following sub-paragraph —

“(o)

notwithstanding regulation 15(a), where it applies to him, if he is participating in the programme provided in pursuance of arrangements made by the Secretary of State under section 2 of the Employment and Training Act 1973 known as Contract for Work and is not receiving a training allowance.”.
