# The Jobseeker's Allowance (Mandatory Work Activity Scheme) Regulations 2011, Regulation 20: Contracting out certain functions in relation to the Scheme


(1) Any functions of the Secretary of State specified in paragraph (2) may be exercised by, or by employees of, such person (if any) as may be authorised by the Secretary of State.
(2) The functions are any function under—
(a) regulation 4 (requirement to participate and notification);
(b) regulation 5(1)(a) (notice that requirement to participate ceases).
