These Regulations amend the Jobseeker’s Allowance (Pilot Scheme) Regulations 1996 (S.I. 1996/1307) by adding an office to those listed in the Schedule. This has the effect that persons who are required to attend that office may fall within the application of the Jobseeker’s Allowance (Pilot Scheme) Regulations 1996, and may thus, subject to certain exceptions, receive a sanction in accordance with section 19 of the Jobseekers Act and the Jobseeker’s Allowance Regulations (S.I. 1996/207) if they fail to participate in the employment programme known as Project Work.

These Regulations do not impose a charge on businesses.
