# The Jobseeker's Allowance Regulations 2013, Regulation 36: Waiting Days

Extent: E+W+S

(1) Paragraph 4 of Schedule 1 to the Act does not apply in a case where a person's entitlement to a jobseeker's allowance commences within 12 weeks of an entitlement of theirs to income support, incapacity benefit, employment and support allowance , carer’s allowance or carer support payment coming to an end.
(2) In the case of a person to whom paragraph 4 of Schedule 1 to the Act applies, the number of days is seven.
