  "long_title": "These Regulations, which are made pursuant to section 40 of the Jobseekers Act 1995 (c. 18) provide for continuity between, on the one hand, unemployment benefit and income support for those who are required to be available for and actively seeking employment and, on the other, a jobseeker’s allowance. They are made before the end of the period of 6 months beginning with the coming into force of the enactments under which they are made. Accordingly they are exempted by section 173(3)(a) of the Social Security Administration Act 1992 (c. 5) from reference to the Social Security Advisory Committee and have not been so referred.",
