  "heading": "The 1993 Regulations",
  "text": "(1) The administrators shall comply with the requirements of regulation 4 (Restriction on discretion to approve — freestanding additional voluntary contributions schemes) of the 1993 Regulations.\n(2) Where a pension scheme is a leading scheme, the administrators shall comply with regulation 6 (Calculation of surplus funds) of the 1993 Regulations in so far as it relates to a main scheme.\n(3) Regulations 2.7 to 2.13 shall apply as appropriate for the purpose of calculating the surplus funds referred to in regulation 6 of the 1993 Regulations.",
