  "text": "In these Regulations —\n“the 1993 Act” means the Judicial Pensions and Retirement Act 1993;\n“the appropriate Minister” has the meaning given by—\n(a) section 30(1) of the 1993 Act; or\n(b) section 32A(6) of the Judicial Pensions Act 1981;\nand —\n(i) in the case of an appeal under section 9A of the Sheriffs' Pensions (Scotland) Act 1961, means the Secretary of State;\n(ii) in the case of an appeal under the enactments mentioned in paragraphs (d), (e), (f), (g) (h) and (i) of regulation 3, means the Treasury;",
