  "text": "These Regulations consolidate with amendments the Regulations revoked by Regulation 3 which relate to the payment of certain allowances to justices of the peace, and increase the maximum rates of financial loss allowance payable. The new maximum rates are £8.00, if the time involved exceeds 4 hours in a 24 hour period, and £4.00 in other cases.",
