These Rules may be cited as the Justices' Clerks (Amendment) Rules 1997 and, subject to paragraph (2) below, shall come into force on 1st April 1997.

(2)

Rule 4 of these Rules shall have effect in the same way as section 65 of the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996f1 has effect.
