# The Justices' Clerks Rules 2005, Paragraph 34


The fixing under section 86(3) of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980 of a later day in substitution for a day previously fixed for the appearance of an offender to enable an enquiry into his means to be made under section 82 of that Act or to enable a hearing required by section 82(5) of that Act to be held.
