# The Kimberley Process (Fees) Regulations 2014, Regulation 2: Interpretation

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

(1) In these Regulations—
“Department” means the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, and
“Principal Regulation” means Council Regulation (EC) No. 2368/2002 adopted by the Council of the European Union on 20th December 2002 as amended from time to time.
(2) Unless the context otherwise requires, expressions used in the Regulations, and which are also used in the Principal Regulation, shall have the meaning they bear in that Regulation.
