# The Knives Act 1997 (Commencement) (No. 1) Order 1997, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order brings into force on 1st September 1997 sections 1 to 7, 9 and 10 of the Knives Act 1997. Section 11 came into force on Royal Assent (19th March 1997).
