CORONERS

Coming into force 16th September 2002
Whereas:
the Council of the County of Lancashire have, in pursuance of section 4(2) of the Coroners Act 1988f1 and after due compliance with the provisions of the Coroners (Orders as to Districts) Rules 1927f2, submitted to the Secretary of State a draft Order providing for the alteration of the existing division of that county into coroners' districts; and
the Secretary of State has made such modifications of the draft Order as he thinks fit;
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 4(2) of that Act, and after taking into consideration objections to the draft made in the prescribed manner and within the prescribed time, hereby makes the following Order:
