Rule 3 Method of payment

Fees payable under these Rules shall be paid in money in accordance with the Land Charges (Fees) Order 1990^f1.

The fee must be paid on delivery of the application.

Unless the registrar otherwise directs, or where paragraph (4) applies, the fee shall be paid by cheque or postal order crossed and made payable to HM Land Registry.

Where there is an agreement between the registrar and the applicant, a fee may be paid by direct debit or other means to such bank account of the registry as the registrar may from time to time direct.
