# The Land Charges Rules 1974, Article 22


Except in the case of an application for cancellation or rectification and without prejudice to the provisions of rule 13 above, the registrar shall not be concerned to inquire into or otherwise verify the accuracy or validity of any matter or thing stated or appearing in any notice given or application made to him.
