# Land Drainage Act 1961, Paragraph 34


At the end of paragraph 3 of the Second Schedule (which provides for the appointment of members of a river board for a term of three years beginning on the first day of November) there shall be added the words
“but if for any reason a member is appointed on or after the day on which he ought to have come into office he shall come into office on the day on which he is appointed and shall hold office for the remainder of the said term”.
