# Land Drainage Act 1961, Paragraph 5


At the end of paragraph (c) of subsection (4) of section twenty-six (under which an occupier who has paid an owner's drainage rate may recover the amount paid by him from the owner) there shall be added the words
“and may deduct that amount from any rent payable by him to the owner”.
