# Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2016, Section 86: Modern limited duration tenancies: subletting


(1) The 2003 Act is amended as follows.
(2) After section 7 insert—
“Subletting of modern limited duration tenancies
7A A tenant may sublet the land comprised in a lease constituting a modern limited duration tenancy only on such basis as the lease expressly permits.”.
