  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order brings into force on 13th October 2003 all the provisions of the Land Registration Act 2002, (“the Act”) not already in force except for—\nsection 98(1), which provides an adverse possessor with a defence to a possession action if he is entitled to apply to be registered as proprietor in circumstances where the condition in paragraph 5(4) of Schedule 6 to the Act would have been satisfied; and\nparagraph 5(4) and (5) of Schedule 6 to the Act, which relates to applications for registration of an adverse possessor as proprietor of an estate in land that is adjacent to land already belonging to him.\nThese provisions will come into force on 13th October 2004.",
