  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThe Land Registration Act 2002 makes provision about land registration and in particular provides for the appointment of the Adjudicator to Her Majesty’s Land Registry.\nThese Regulations make provision for the carrying out of functions during any vacancy in that office.\nRegulation 2 makes provision for the appointment.\nRegulation 3 makes provision for jurisdiction and powers.",
