# Land Registration (Amendment) Rules (Northern Ireland) 2000, Introduction: Introductory text


LAND REGISTRATION
Made 11th May 2000
Coming into operation 16th June 2000
The Department of Finance and Personnel in exercise of the powers conferred by section 85 of the Land Registration Act (Northern Ireland) 1970 and now vested in it and Article 46(2) of the Property (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, with the advice and assistance of the Land Registry Rules Committee, hereby makes the following Rules:
