# The Land Registration (District Registries) Order 2001 S.I. 2001/3424 · made 16 October 2001 Made under: 1925 c. 21 (Section 132) PDFs: Printed copy https://openlegislation.uk/land-registration-district-registries-order-2001/pdf/uksi_20013424_en.pdf ## Introductory text LAND REGISTRATION, ENGLAND AND WALES Made 16th October 2001 Coming into force 2nd January 2002 The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 132(1) of the Land Registration Act 1925, and with the concurrence of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Order: ## 1 Title, commencement and interpretation (1) This Order, which supersedes the Land Registration (District Registries) Order 2000, may be cited as the Land Registration (District Registries) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 2nd January 2002.
