# The Land Registration (District Registries) Order 2001, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
A This Order, on 2nd January 2002, supersedes the Land Registration (District Registries) Order 2000 and transfers responsibility for the registration of titles in Corby, East Northamptonshire, Kettering and Wellingborough from the Peterborough District Land Registry to the Leicester District Registry.
B This Order otherwise leaves unaltered the districts of the following District Land Registries:
Birkenhead (Old Market)
Nottingham (East)
Birkenhead (Rosebrae)
Nottingham (West)
Coventry
Plymouth
Croydon
Portsmouth
Durham (Boldon House)
Stevenage
Durham (Southfield House)
