# The Land Registration Fee Order 2006, Introduction: Introductory text


LAND REGISTRATION, ENGLAND AND WALES
Made 15th May 2006
Laid before Parliament 15th May 2006
Coming into force 7th August 2006
The Lord Chancellor makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 102 and 128(1) of the Land Registration Act 2002.
In accordance with section 102 of that Act, he has received the advice and assistance of the Rule Committee, appointed under section 127 of that Act.
Also in accordance with section 102 of that Act, the Treasury has consented to the making of this Order.
